TD Waterhouse / Internaxx
We supplied a Business/Systems Analyst to help TD Waterhouse to migrate a Share Dealing website from Microsoft ASP to Websphere.
- Project: Project: Replacement website for Internaxx, online stock broker. (www.internaxx.lu). A joint-venture project between TD Waterhouse and Fortis in Luxembourg, Internaxx is an international online brokerage service for several thousands of expatriate and international clients throughout the world. Their existing website was maintained by TD Waterhouse (USA), build using ASP on Microsoft servers. The project was to bring the website to the UK offices of TD Waterhouse, convert the website to HTML and Java running on a Websphere server and to improve the functionality and reliability of the Website.
- Technology: Website front end, (HTML, Java, Websphere). Integration with TD Waterhouse financial systems, running on AS400 with DB2 database.
- Role: Business System Analyst. Full Lifecycle, responsible for:
- Liaising with business managers and key stakeholders to document and confirm business requirements for the functional changes to be implemented in the replacement system.
- Workshop facilitation, often by phone conference due to location of business clients.
- Analysis of the existing website and production of design specifications for the replacement system. Production of system test strategy and system test plan.
- Production of Test Scenarios, Test Conditions and Test scripts.
- Test execution and evaluation of test output, automated regression testing and performance testing using Empirix: eTest & eLoad
- Defect recording and subsequent monitoring
- Coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT) for offshore (Luxembourg) client.
